A shadow hangs over Unus Solum. The legacy of the Great War has held the world in its clutches for the last 17 years. With the Dominion's defeat, the temporary alliance that rose to stop them has fallen apart along strategic and ideological lines as the Arcean Republic and Karelian Empire have scrambled to fill the void. Now the world stands divided between the Union of Lanzarote and the Royal League, while other powers outside the major alliances have tried to carve a space for themselves in this new world.
